We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate LPN\RN Supervisor to join our team of superstars. The LPN\RN Supervisoris responsible for assisting the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Services Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards governing the facility to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
Qualifications for LPN\RN Supervisor:
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) License in FL
- 2 Years of LPN/RN experience
- 1 year of nurse leadership/supervising experience
- Previous experience in a long-term care facility or other healthcare-related facility
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and committed to providing high-quality care.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Ability to read/write/comprehend the English language in written & verbal form required.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and document residents' health conditions, including vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatments.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
- Provide nursing care for residents, including wound care, catheter care, and assistance with daily living activities.
- Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Educate residents and their families about health management and procedures.
- Ensure that all care is delivered in accordance with regulatory and facility guidelines.
- Respond to emergencies and provide critical care when necessary.
- Assist with training and supervising nursing assistants (CNA).
