Job summary

Crossroads Programs, Inc. in Willingboro, NJ is seeking an RN Supervisor for part-time clinical leadership across our residential programs.

The role focuses on nursing oversight, patient safety, and guiding LPN staff to deliver high-quality, coordinated care for youth. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current and active New Jersey RN license.
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Previous nursing supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and oversight to nursing services.
• Provide nursing supervision to LPN staff.
• Conduct nursing assessments and maintain accurate documentation.
• Complete physical assessments upon admission or as clinically indicated.
• Monitor medication administration practices and review MARs for accuracy and safety.
• Respond to medical and psychiatric concerns and ensure appropriate follow-up.
• Provide nursing education groups for youth.
• Collaborate with physicians, clinicians, case managers, residential staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in ISP and treatment team meetings.
• Provide monthly nursing updates for treatment planning.
• Support quality assurance, incident review, and risk-management activities.
• Ensure nursing services comply with applicable regulations and organizational policies.
• Support nursing staff development, competency, coaching, and professional growth.
• Promote trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and person-centered care.

About the Role

The Nursing Supervisor provides clinical oversight, nursing services, and supervision across Crossroads Programs, Inc. residential stabilization, assessment, and treatment programs.

The Nursing Supervisor works closely with LPNs, clinicians, residential staff, physicians, case managers, and other members of the treatment team to ensure youth receive safe, coordinated, and appropriate healthcare services.

What You'll Do

As a Nursing Supervisor, your responsibilities may include:

• Provide clinical leadership and oversight to nursing services

The Nursing Supervisor will provide nursing services and clinical oversight across assigned Crossroads programs.

• 5 hours of nursing services
• Nursing group with youth in the program
• Nursing assessments and documentation
• 3 hours of nursing supervision for the LPN

• 1-hour nursing education group

Kerri's Program

• 3 hours of nursing supervision

Maxine's Program

• 3 hours of nursing supervision
• 2 hours every other week
• Physical assessment upon admission or as clinically indicated
• Monthly ISP/Treatment meeting update
• Provide nursing input and collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current and active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience preferred
• Experience in behavioral health, residential treatment, pediatric/adolescent, or related settings preferred
• Previous nursing supervisory or leadership experience preferred

Additional Qualifications

• Knowledge of NJAC 10:56 and applicable Medicaid requirements preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Ability to supervise, train, coach, and support nursing staff
• Commitment to confidentiality and professional ethics
• Ability to respond appropriately to medical and behavioral health emergencies
• Ability to stand and walk as required
• Ability to respond promptly to emergencies
• Ability to perform essential nursing functions
• Ability to bend, reach, and move throughout residential and clinical environments
• Ability to occasionally lift or assist with movement as required by the position and safe workplace practices
