Job summary

Aspen Nursing and Rehab Center in Punxsutawney, PA is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor for the night shift at our 75-bed long-term care facility. You will lead the nursing team, ensure quality resident care, and collaborate with other health professionals.

Responsibilities include direct resident care, assessments, medications, charting, and reporting changes to the nursing administration.

Qualifications

• Must be fully licensed as an RN in PA.
• Current CPR certification.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Some supervisory experience preferred, but not required.
• Long-term care experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless resident care.
• Provide direct resident care, including assessment, treatment, and medications.
• Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions.
• Complete accurate charting and documentation in progress notes.
• Inform the appropriate position/personnel of any changes and secure follow-up care as necessary.
• Work in coordination with nursing administration and staff.
• Provide leadership and support to the nursing team during the night shift.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be fully licensed as an RN in the state of Pennsylvania

• Ability to perform physical tasks typically performed in RN work

• Current CPR certification

• Excellent communication skills
