Job summary

Laurel Brook Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an RN Supervisor for the part-time night shift, 11pm-7:30am, every other weekend. The role provides clinical leadership, oversees nursing staff, and ensures regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates hold an active New Jersey RN license with BLS, and have 4+ years of nursing experience including 2+ years in supervision. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license in New Jersey.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Minimum 4+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting
• Minimum 2 years of supervisor experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with staff, residents, families, visitors, and regulatory agencies.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and standards in nursing care centers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and family members regarding changes in condition or care needs.
• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to all applicable nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.
• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork, communication, and professional leadership.
