???? Registered Nurse (RN) – About You In Home Care, HCBS Agency (Mississippi)

Position Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) at About You In Home Care provides skilled nursing services to individuals enrolled in Mississippi HCBS waiver programs, ensuring compliance with Part 208 regulations. The RN also supervises Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), providing clinical oversight, mentorship, and quality assurance to maintain high standards of care across the agency.

Reporting To: The RN reports directly to Sher Roberts, DON, Conner Aucoin, Paige Whiddon, and Robert Conley.

️ Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial and ongoing nursing assessments in accordance with waiver requirements
  • Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
  • Provide direct nursing care, including wound care, injections, and medication administration
  • Monitor client health status, medication regimens, and treatment effectiveness
  • Educate clients, caregivers, and staff on health conditions, medications, and safety protocols
  • Supervise LPN staff, including delegation of tasks, review of documentation, and performance feedback
  • Ensure LPN compliance with agency policies, scope of practice, and clinical standards
  • Participate in incident reporting, corrective action planning, and quality enhancement activities
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with Medicaid and agency standards
  • Coordinate with physicians, case managers, and other providers to ensure continuity of care
  • Support emergency preparedness planning and infection control protocols
  • Uphold HIPAA, LDH, and CMS regulatory requirements

Work Conditions

  • Combination of office hours and field work to support both administrative and direct client care needs
  • Standard office hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Travel to client homes and community settings as needed for nursing services
  • Flexible scheduling with some on-call responsibilities outside of regular office hours
  • Requires physical mobility, lifting, and ability to respond to emergencies
