Job summary

Givens Highland Farms Health Care Center, a skilled nursing facility in Black Mountain, NC, is seeking a Full-Time RN Supervisor for night shift, 7pm–7am, every other weekend. The role centers on leadership of direct resident care and maintaining high-quality, compliant nursing services.

Responsibilities include supervising CNAs, ensuring care plans (MDS) are followed, providing staff teaching, conducting rounds, and assisting in admissions while communicating resident information promptly.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RN license.
• Minimum 2 years in long-term care or geriatric care preferred.
• Proficient in computer systems and software.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Act as a team leader and liaison for direct resident care.
• Supervise CNAs in ADL assistance and resident care tasks.
• Ensure each resident care plan is implemented per the current MDS.
• Provide staff teaching and coordinate with the Director of Nursing Services as needed.
• Conduct hall rounds and report concerns with interventions.
• Participate in resident admission processes.
• Communicate pertinent resident information accurately and timely.

Givens Highland Farms Health Care Center, a skilled nursing facility in Black Mountain, is seeking a Full-Time RN Supervisor for Night shift, 7pm-7am. Every other Weekend is required. The primary purpose of position is to ensure that the highest degree of quality care be provided to the residents of Givens Highland Farms (GHF) at all times , maintaining compliance with all current federal, state and local standard, guidelines and regul ations that govern our facility .

What you'll do:

• Act as a team leader and l iaison for direct resident care
• Responsible for overall monitoring and supervision of CNAs providing residents with assistance of ADLs and including, but not limited to : bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transferring, feeding and ensuring th at resident care needs are met
• Ensure that each resident care plan is implemented and followed in accordance with the cur rent resident assessment (MDS)
• Provide teaching opportunities as needed to staff for provision of individualized care or consult the Director of Nursing Services or her/his designee for in-service needs
• Do hall rounds routinely report any identified concerns to DNS or designee eve ry week with interventions done
• Participate in resident admission process
• Communicate pertinent information regarding residents and relays information in an accurate and timely manner
• Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor

What you'll need:

• An unencumbered Registered Nursing license in the State of North Carolina is required
• T wo years in long term care or with the ger iatric population is preferred
• Must possess a working knowledge of computer systems and software packages
• Must possess public relation skills, demonstrate initiative and be capable of working without direct supervision
• Must be dependable, accurate, thorough, tactful, courteous and a team participant

Compensation is $34.00 -$39.00 per hour, based on experience, plus an additional $4 per hour for Supervisor pay, plus shift differential pay, plus our comprehensive benefits package.
