Job summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking an experienced RN to join our Summit Team, supporting a flexible, expert care across Puget Sound and Capital Pacific Regions. The role operates in a tiered clustering model and offers diverse settings and ongoing learning opportunities.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams, provide high-quality nursing care, and contribute to improvements in patient experience and outcomes. A Bachelor’s in Nursing and WA licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire
• RN with 15+ years of service or internal candidates hired before January 1, 2021 may be considered in satisfaction of this requirement in lieu of an education agreement
• Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
• Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
• Current BLS Certification and ACLS if working in Critical Care / ED
• Three (3) years of experience required
• Local float pool experience preferred

Responsibilities

• You will organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis
• You will utilize the knowledge base of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols
• Collaborate with the nursing team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff and members of the health care team
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds
