Salado Ind School District is seeking a Substitute School Nurse to support campus health services in Salado, Texas. The role requires providing direct nursing care, following health protocols, and ensuring student safety.

The substitute nurse will coordinate medications, perform screenings, and collaborate with families and teachers while maintaining accurate health records and complying with district and state health rules.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing education program.
• Current Texas RN license to practice professional nursing.
• Certified by Texas Department of Health to conduct vision and hearing screening.
• CPR Certification.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct care using the nursing process and established school health protocols.
• Serve as health advocate for students and notify parents in emergencies.
• Coordinate administration of medications to students according to district policy.
• Develop and coordinate health education and screening programs for campus.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, physicians and community on student health.
