Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager

Amsterdam Nursing Home is actively hiring Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Managers for our Skilled Nursing Facility in the heart of New York City.

We are now offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus!

Responsibilities:

1. Complete Resident care requirements by scheduling and assigning nurses and staff.
2. Establish a compassionate environment by providing support to Residents and families.
3. Provide information to Residents and the healthcare team.
4. Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
5. Monitor confidential information to maintain Resident confidence.
6. Document Resident care services.
7. Manage nursing supplies inventory.
8. Foster a cooperative relationship among healthcare teams.

Requirements:

• Valid NYS RN License.
• Long-term Care (LTC) experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
