Job summary

Christiana Care Health System in Newark, Delaware, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the 5A Stepdown Unit on a 36-hour-per-week rotating shift. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to a complex adult patient population, supported by a comprehensive orientation.

The role involves managing a 4-5 patient assignment, collaborating with PCTs, Pharmacy, PT, Respiratory Therapy, and other professionals.

Qualifications

• BSN required
• ADN candidates considered with a 3-year BSN completion commitment
• Minimum one year of experience (acute or sub-acute preferred)
• BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Deliver care to a complex adult patient population on a 4-5 patient assignment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including Patient Care Technicians, Pharmacy, PT, and Respiratory Therapy
• Engage in relation-based nursing practice and support orientation and independence in practice
