Atlas MedStaff LLC is seeking an experienced Stepdown Cardiac Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Wilmington, NC. The role provides care on an inpatient cardiac telemetry unit during night shifts, with 36 hours weekly.

The ideal candidate will manage post‑MI patients, interpret dysrhythmias, and monitor cardiac drips without titration, on a unit that handles CABG, TAVR and EP procedures. RTO requests are not permitted after booking, and assignments may be canceled if changes are requested

Qualifications

• RN licensed to practice in the US.
• Experience in stepdown or telemetry units with cardiac patients.
• Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage post-MI care.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care on inpatient cardiac telemetry unit.
• Monitor and respond to dysrhythmias and patient status.
• Manage cardiac drips without titration as directed by protocol.
• Support patients undergoing CABG, TAVR or EP procedures.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing post-myocardial infarction patients, interpreting dysrhythmias, and managing cardiac drips without titration. This assignment offers the chance to work within a bustling unit that handles complex cardiac procedures like CABG, TAVR, and electrophysiology, with a focus on maintaining patient stability and responding to emergent situations. Night shifts run from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with a committed 36 hours weekly, and the unit rotates to accommodate staffing needs. Please note, RTO requests are not permitted after booking, and outcomes may include cancellation if additional requests are made post-confirmation.
