Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice is required.
• ACLS and NIHSS certifications are required per AH policy.
• BSN preferred; acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or group of patients per established standards and nursing process.
• Supervises and directs activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines.
• Participates in discharge planning to provide continuity of care.
• Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
