Job summary

Summit Orthopedics in Minnesota is seeking an RN to lead staff development, education, and credentialing oversight across our surgery centers. The role supports education programs, compliance with national and state standards, and credentialing activities to maintain high-quality care.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor of Nursing and RN license, with 5+ years perioperative or surgery center experience, ACLS/PALS/BLS certifications, and experience managing LMS and education records.

Qualifications

• 5 years' or more of related experience, perioperative nursing experience preferred.
• Prior experience working in a surgery center environment required.
• RN license and nursing degree required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver and oversee in-service and annual required education to support best practices and patient safety.
• Manage staff education compliance, including tracking competencies and training records.
• Administer and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to promote accountability for learning.
• Utilize scheduling to meet education needs of Surgery Center Staff.
• Plan and coordinate BLS, ACLS, and PALS classes.
• Develop and oversee orientation and education programs to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist in health screenings and immunization records to ensure compliance.
