Avamere Skilled Advisors, LLC d/b/a Avamere Living in Burien, WA is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator (RN) to plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive training for nursing staff, ensuring clinical competency and regulatory compliance.

You will design curricula, conduct orientation, deliver in-service education, assess performance, and collaborate with nursing leadership to uphold resident care standards in a busy skilled nursing facility.

Qualifications

• Must possess a nursing degree and a current RN license in state.
• Experience delivering clinical education and training programs.

Responsibilities

• Identify training needs across staff levels and develop curricula.
• Conduct orientation and onboarding for new hires.
• Plan and deliver in-service education on new procedures and clinical updates.
• Perform competency evaluations to ensure clinical proficiency.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership on quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure training programs meet CMS, state, and federal regulations.
