Job summary

Life Care Centers of America in Chattanooga, TN, seeks an RN Staff Development Coordinator to plan, organize, and direct in-service education for nursing staff in accordance with laws and Life Care standards.

The role requires an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing, active RN license, CPR certification, and teaching experience; one year of skilled nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma (associate's or bachelor's) required.
• Active RN license in good standing required.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation.
• Teaching/education experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, direct, conduct, evaluate, and coordinate staff training, education, in service, and orientation.
• Maintain associate training and in-service records.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients.
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
• Communicate and function on an interdisciplinary team.
