The RN-STAFF/CLIN NURSE in the Med Surg-ICU Unit is responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating care for assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician. The RN must be knowledgeable about principles, theories, current methods, and techniques of nursing practice. Using the nursing process, the RN collaborates with the patient, patient's family, professional peers, and other members of the health care team to individualize patient care. The RN will also direct nursing support staff in the provision of patient care according to nursing practice standards, administrative, and departmental policies and procedures. Professional education, training, or additional certifications may be required by specialty area.

Education

1. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Required)
2. Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

Experience

1. 1 Year experience in area of clinical specialty (Preferred)

License/Certifications

1. RN-LIC - PA Registered Nurse License (Required)
2. BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
