Job Description - RN-Staff/Clin Nurse - 8A - Medical Surgical - 36HR Night Flex Shift (252578)

The RN assesses, implements, and evaluates the care needed by assigned patients under the direction of the licensed physician. The RN should be knowledgeable about principles, theories, current methods, and techniques of nursing practice. Using the nursing process, the RN collaborates with patients, their families or significant others, and other healthcare team members to individualize patient care.

Responsibilities include directing nursing support staff in providing patient care according to nursing standards, policies, and procedures. Professional education, training, or additional certifications may be required by the specialty area.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Required)
2. Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
3. 1 year of experience in the clinical specialty (Preferred)
4. PA Registered Nurse License (Required)
5. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required)
