Job summary

Mercy Hospital Saint Louis is seeking a part-time nurse for the Float Pool weekend option. You will provide patient care across units, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and upholding Mercy's standards.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of acute care RN experience, Missouri RN license, BSN preferred, and BLS/ACLS. Mercy offers benefits starting Day One, tuition reimbursement, merit increases, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience (6 months within the past year).
• Nursing degree from an accredited program; BSN preferred.
• Current Missouri RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care across units in the Float Pool.
• Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary teams.
• Uphold patient rights, confidentiality and Mercy standards.

Job description

Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patients care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patients' rights and confidentiality of patient information. Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with the established guidelines of nursing practice, the goals of Mercy Health System, the Philosophy of the Sisters of Mercy, the State Nurse Practice Act, the Code of Professional and Business Ethics, and the Co-Worker Code of Conduct. Float Pool Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience (6 months must be within the past year)

• Certifications:

  • ACLS (American Heart Association)
