St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a Full Time RN Specialty Leader for the Surgery Department.

The RN is responsible for daily planning, coordination, and monitoring of care with nursing staff and other health care professionals, ensuring efficient resource use and adherence to standards of care. The role supports outcomes within an appropriate length of stay, justifies variations based on patient needs, and assists in managing the Nursing Unit.

Competenze

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in West Virginia or a valid compact-state license.
• BLS certification.
• Experience preferred but not required.

Job Description

St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a Full Time RN Specialty Leader for our Surgery Department. The RN is r esponsible for the daily planning, coordination, and monitoring of care with the nursing staff and other health care professional caring for the patient. Accountable for assuring effective use of available resources, maintaining established standards of care and meeting outcomes within an appropriate length of stay. Ensures that variations based on patients' individual needs are justified and well documented. Assists with the management needs of Nursing Unit.

Requirements

Graduate of an approved School of Nursing. Current licensure as aRegistered Nurse(RN) in thestateof West Virginia or a validcompactstatenurselicense.

EXPERIENCE: Experience preferred but not required.

SKILLS: Knowledge of current nursing procedures. BLS required.
