Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking an RN Special Procedures to join the Medical Imaging/Radiology team. You will provide high‑quality nursing care to inpatients and outpatients across the lifespan during imaging/interventional procedures.

You will work in areas including diagnostic and interventional procedures, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and breast imaging, while coordinating with physicians and staff to deliver safe, effective care.

Competenze

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher.
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the practicing state or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
• A current CPR/BLS provider is required.
• A current Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification is required.
• Prior Critical Care experience is preferred.

Mansioni

• Perform RN duties in general diagnostic, interventional/therapeutic, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and breast imaging.
• Explain and answer patient and family questions.
• Assess patient and document in the chart.
• Assess nursing needs and initiate appropriate interventions for Medical Imaging patients.
• Communicate with physicians and other clinicians on care effectiveness.
