Job summary

BrightStar Care Bluffton is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for skilled nursing and clinical care. This full-time role combines clinical nursing, patient assessment, care coordination, and supervision of nursing services.

The RN works mainly from our Bluffton office Monday–Friday, with occasional travel to patients’ homes for assessments and skilled care, IVIG infusion, and wound/tube care. Attention to documentation and regulatory standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Current RN license valid in South Carolina and Georgia (compact license).
• Minimum 2 years of professional nursing experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Experience with IVIG infusion therapy preferred.
• Home health, private duty, skilled nursing, or case management experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee skilled nursing operations, ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop care plans.
• Conduct in-home nursing visits to assess patients and provide skilled care.
• Provide and/or oversee IVIG infusion therapy and other skilled nursing services.
• Provide wound care and bowel/bladder management.
• Manage tube feeding and enteral nutrition care.
• Review and ensure accurate nursing documentation and records.
• Ensure nursing services align with regulations and BrightStar Care policies.
• Participate in quality assurance and clinical oversight.
