Job summary

DMC Harper University/Hutzel Women's Hospital in Detroit is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time evening shift. You will lead the nursing team, collaborate with physicians, delegate care, and monitor patient progress to ensure safe discharges. A nursing degree is required with Michigan RN licensure and BLS certification; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of nursing is required.
• BSN preferred.
• Licensed to practice as an RN in Michigan is required.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Establish collaborative relationships with physicians and healthcare providers.
• Delegate, assess, provide and evaluate patient care.
• Supervise and support nursing teams in patient care activities.
• Monitor patient progress and prepare for discharge.
• Report to senior unit management and participate in shared decision-making.
