Job summary

Valley Baptist Health System in Harlingen, Texas, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct clinical patient care on a per-shift basis, supervising staff and ensuring high-quality nursing care.

This role will assess, plan, implement and coordinate care, administer medications safely, and support the CNO to maintain safety, quality, and resource management while promoting professional growth and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current license to practice nursing; BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, safe nursing care to all patients.
• Coordinate patient care using the nursing process.
• Administer medications per hospital policy.
• Respond to emergencies and support hospital incident command system (HICS).
• Know and follow hospital emergency codes.
