Job summary

Advocate Health in Shelby, NC welcomes applicants for a Registered Nurse position on our 241-bed medical-surgical unit. The role focuses on coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process and delivering safe, high-quality care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will provide evidence-based, patient-centered care and contribute to an environment that prioritizes safety, compassion, and excellent patient experience across the continuum.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state where you practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• NIHSS certificate within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead with evidence-based practice and strong communication to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
