Job summary

The RN will plan, provide and supervise nursing care, coordinate care with other caregivers, follow universal precautions and infection control policies, and work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• BSN or ADN required.
• RN license in Ohio required.
• Valid CPR certification or obtain within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS certification or obtain within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care in accordance with physician orders.
• Takes and records measurements or readings.
• Assesses condition and provides treatment for care of patient.
• Administers prescribed medications.
• Provides leadership while collaborating with other care givers on the unit.
• Participates in HFAP readiness on an ongoing basis.
• Assists with patient rounds.
