Job summary

Qualifications

• Current RN license issued in Iowa or a compact state.
• BLS certification required within six weeks of hire.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training completed within three months of hire.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, high-quality nursing care to patients of all ages.
• Use a team approach to delegate and coordinate patient care at admission, transfer, and discharge.
• Independently deliver nursing care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and Mercy policies.
• Work rotating shifts, weekends and holidays as scheduled; duties may vary by shift or unit.
