Job summary

CareOne at Brookline is seeking an RN Shift Supervisor to oversee nursing activities on the Brookline, MA unit. The role requires ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining high-quality care, and acting as the front-line representative for administration during shifts.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license (or LPN/LVN) with 1+ year of supervisory experience in a health-care setting and demonstrates knowledge of long-term care regulations. Competitive compensation and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred; or LPN/LVN graduate enrolled in RN program.
• Active RN or LPN/LVN licensure.
• 1+ year of supervisor experience in a hospital or nursing facility.
• Knowledge of Skilled Nursing and Long Term Care Federal Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee nursing activities during the shift.
• Ensure compliance with State and Federal Regulations and facility policies.

Min $45/hr- Max $51/hr

Compensation will be based on, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, credentials, employment status, and work schedule

The RN Supervisor will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Responsible for the day to day coordination and oversight of all aspects of nursing activities of the facility during her/his tour of duty.
• Assure that State and Federal Regulations as well as Facility Policy and Procedures are adhered to and the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
• Serve as Administration's representation in the facility in the absence of the Director of Nursing, the Assistant Director of Nursing and the Administrator.
• Delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out his/her assigned duties.

Position Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or and accredited RN program is preferred. or a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program and currently enrolled in an approved RN program and actively pursuing an RN Licensure.
• 1+ year experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related health care facility.
• Prefer experience in Skilled Nursing and knowledge of Long Term Care Federal Regulations.
• Actively licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN/LVN
