Job summary

MUHA seeks an RN II/Relief Staff Leader to provide individualized, goal-directed care using the nursing process, while leading shifts and coordinating with the care team. Emphasis on patient/family-centered care, privacy, and professional conduct within MUSC’s Surgery Trauma Burn ICU settings.

The role requires BSN preferred, active RN licensure in SC or a compact state, and a minimum of one year experience with BLS certification. This on-site, 36-hour weekly position supports a rotating shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred.
• RN required with SC or compact state licensure.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients using the nursing process.
• Direct and lead assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
