Job summary

Ochsner Health is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead patient care using the nursing process within the Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards. Shift 6:45pm-7:15am; strong leadership and communication are essential to guide licensed and ancillary staff.

Required RN license in the state of practice and BLS certification; Bachelor's in nursing preferred. Emphasis on quality outcomes, cultural sensitivity, and adherence to compliance.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current RN license in state of practice.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

Uses the nursing process in the delivery of patient care.
Assesses learning needs and teaches diverse patients and groups.
Delegates and manages nursing team resources; leads interdisciplinary team.
Uses data to evaluate and promote change for optimal outcomes.
