Job summary

Qualifications

• RN required.
• Preferred: Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• 1 year of relevant RN experience OR 2 years as an LPN in acute care.
• Preferred: 2 years of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications, starts IVs, and discharges patients with their healthcare team.
• Organizes, plans, supervises, and provides coordinated patient care within the unit.
• Supervises and evaluates staff nurses and technicians.
• Promotes adoption of nursing protocols and clinical practice guidelines to support evidence-based practice.
• Manages conflict on shifts and collaborates with unit leadership when needed.
• Collaborates with patient quality, safety, and experience leadership to promote processes.
• Supports daily clinical operations by ensuring staffing and supplies are available for patient care.
