Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a clinically competent, registered nurse to serve as Clinical Shift Coordinator in Illinois. The role oversees daily unit operations, coordinates nursing care, and leads a team to ensure patient safety and high-quality service across shifts.

You will mentor staff, manage staffing, ensure regulatory compliance, participate in performance evaluations, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• BSN required; IL RN license.
• Minimum 3 years RN experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Telemetry competency and computer skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Compliance with Illinois Practice Act.
