Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (PRN) for Baptist Medical Center East in Montgomery, AL. The RN will oversee nursing staff on shift and ensure quality patient care, applying the nursing process from assessment to intervention.

Responsibilities include collaboration with physicians and other clinicians, and adaptability to assign duties as needed within the unit. Active RN licensure and BLS are required; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending on the unit.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN licensure required; BLS certification required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, etc. may be required depending upon area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Utilize the nursing process for patient assessment, planning, and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in patient care planning and execution.
• Additional duties within the scope of the role may be assigned.
