RN Shift Coordinator | Cardiac ICU Nights - (2500019V)

Description

All nursing practice is based on the legal scope of practice, national and specialty nursing standards, CNMC Policies and Procedures, and applicable laws and regulations. The Professional Model of Care requires registered nurses to be responsible and accountable for their own practice. CNMC supports developing RN relationships within the community, especially those related to community health and well-being. The Shift Coordinator directs the activities of the patient care team on a shift-to-shift basis, collaborates with unit leadership in planning, managing, and evaluating clinical care, and ensures continuity of care.

Qualifications

Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree (Required)

Minimum Work Experience
2 years of nursing experience (Required)
1 year of recent pediatric experience in a similar setting (Required)

Required Skills/Knowledge
Successful completion of hospital and nursing orientation at CNMC

Required Licenses and Certifications
Registered Nurse license in District of Columbia
