Job summary
Mission Community Hospital in Panorama City, CA is seeking a Circulating Registered Nurse to provide exemplary patient care by circulating and scrubbing for diverse surgical cases. This full-time, individual contributor role supports high-stakes perioperative environments.
The position requires CA RN licensure and at least two years of surgical/perioperative nursing experience, with strong communication and teamwork to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Qualifications
- Must have California RN license.
- Minimum 2 years in surgical/perioperative nursing.
- Ability to read and follow physicians' orders.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Ability to handle high-stress situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Scrub and Circulate for a variety of surgical cases and procedures
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition
- Provide professional and compassionate patient care
- Perform pre- and post-operative teaching
- Assist with patient transfers
- Ensure compliance with hospital safety protocols
- Monitor and maintain OR instruments and equipment
- Other duties as assigned
