Job summary

Good Samaritan Society-Park River in Park River, ND is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized nursing care to residents. The RN will use the nursing process and collaborate with residents, families and a multidisciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care.

The role may serve as charge nurse and involve delegation of tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel, with necessary supervision to ensure safe care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA) preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Current RN license in the State Board where practice occurs or multistate licensure if NLC state.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation).
• Collaborate with residents, families and an inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate resident care, assessments and education; ensure safe and effective nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff within competency.
