Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Good Samaritan Canistota is responsible for using the nursing process to provide individualized resident care. You’ll collaborate with residents, families, and an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care in a Christian, not-for-profit setting.

This full-time role runs 6:00 am to 2:30 pm with every other weekend and holiday rotation. A BSN or ADN with an active RN license is preferred, and there are opportunities for advancement, education

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program and hold an active RN license.
• BSN preferred; ADN acceptable depending on locale.
• Competent in nursing assessments, planning, and coordination of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with residents, families, and other health professionals to plan and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care, education, and supervision as needed; may serve as charge nurse.
