Job summary

Good Samaritan Albion seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized nursing care, assessments, and planning in a resident-focused environment. You will collaborate with the inter-disciplinary team to coordinate care and educate residents and families.

The role may include charge nurse responsibilities and delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff while maintaining high standards of nursing practice and ethics. A BSN is preferred, with current RN licensure in good standing.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license where practice occurs.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to residents.
• Coordinate care, resident assessment, education and various nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to staff while ensuring safe, reliable care.
