Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas is seeking a Seasonal Registered Nurse to support our patient care teams within the established nursing model. You will assess patients, develop and adjust care plans, monitor progress, and coordinate with physicians and other clinicians to ensure safe, effective treatment.

You will help patients navigate the healthcare system, respond to evolving conditions, and document care with accuracy.

Qualifications

• A nursing degree or two years of relevant work experience.
• A minimum of one year's experience in the field of nursing.
• A valid Registered Nurse license.
• The ability to obtain Basic Life Support certification within the first 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Using good judgment and clinical reasoning, conduct thorough assessments following practice standards.
• Identify patient and family needs, then develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans accordingly. Make adjustments as needed.
• Creating safe, therapeutic environments for patients, families, and staff.
• Managing emotional and physical pain to promote recovery and prevent unnecessary suffering.
