Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas is seeking a Seasonal Registered Nurse for pre-op and post-op care across cardiovascular procedural areas. This role supports the Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology lab, and CV Operating Room with a patient-centered nursing model.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, collaborate with the team, and help patients navigate the health system safely while maintaining composure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prefer minimum 2 years RN experience with cardiovascular care experience.
• Valid RN license and current state licensure.
• BLS certification to be obtained within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough nursing assessments following practice standards.
• Identify patient and family needs; develop, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Create safe, therapeutic environments for patients, families and staff.
• Manage emotional and physical pain to promote recovery and comfort.

• Experience Required: Prefer minimum 2 years RN experience, must have cardiovascular care experience.
• A valid Registered Nurse license
• The ability to obtain a Basic Life Support certification within the first 30 days of employment.
