Job summary

The substitute RN provides first aid, administers medications, maintains confidential records, collaborates with parents and healthcare providers, and supports staff with health-related education and resources.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of health standards, safety practices, infection control, and child development.
• Ability to read medical information and maintain accurate health records.
• RN license in Missouri and CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and basic medical procedures for ill or injured students.
• Maintains student health records and 504 accommodation documentation.
• Develops and implements emergency care plans and coordinates with families and providers.
• Collaborates with parents, healthcare professionals, and staff to promote student health services.
