Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking an experienced RN to provide school-based nursing care for students with medical needs in Canton, GA. You will manage therapies, monitor conditions, and collaborate with families and school staff to ensure safe, effective care.

The role includes on-site patient care, potential transportation support, and adherence to care plans. A valid RN license, CPR/BLS, and relevant pediatric nursing experience are required.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of practice.
• Current Health Certificate.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for student(s) with medical needs (Trach, vent, G-tube feedings, seizure monitoring with rescue medications, personal care, diabetic care, etc.).
• May ride the bus to and from school with patient.
