Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work one on one with a student in the school setting for the 2026-2027 year in the Omaha area. We will have several 1:1 students with g-tubes, tracheostomies and ventilators in the Omaha and Millard school districts, requiring care such as trach/vent management, g-tube feedings, seizure monitoring and personal care.

Competitive pay at $40/hr, weekly paychecks, and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility RN contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for student(s) with medical needs (Trach, vent, G-tube Feedings, seizure monitoring with rescue medications, personal care, Diabetic care, etc.).
• May ride the bus to and from school with patient.
