Ochsner Health System seeks an experienced nurse leader to supervise patient care using the nursing process within applicable standards. The role delegates tasks to licensed and support staff, while coordinating the care plan across the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.

The incumbent is responsible for professional accountability, adherence to compliance and privacy standards, and ongoing development with clinical knowledge and credentials.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; RN license required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Proficiency with computers, software and web-based applications.
• Effective verbal and written communication; strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (e.g. 24/7, weekend, holiday, on call).

• Leads patient care using the nursing process and within the Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code.
• Delegates and directs licensed and ancillary team members.
• Coordinates the patient’s plan of care and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team.
• Assumes accountability for quality patient outcomes and professional practice.
