Job summary

Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is seeking an experienced RN for the 20-bed Same Day Surgery Unit on the Virginia Beach campus. The role offers a generous sign-on bonus up to $15,000 for qualified candidates, a 36-hour weekly full-time schedule, 5:00am–7:30pm shifts, with 8 or 9-hour shifts and no weekends/holidays.

Requirements include a minimum of 2 years acute or critical care experience, a valid RN license in good standing, and ADN with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years acute or critical care experience.
• RN license in good standing required; BSN preferred.
• ADN required; BSN or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess/admitting patients and performing rounds checks.
• Administer medications and communicate with families.
• Provide overall patient care on the Same Day Surgery Unit and collaborate with the team.
