Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Same-Day Surgery Center. You will join a collaborative team, providing perioperative nursing care across Pre-op and Phase II recovery, with rotating days.

The role requires a Virginia or compact RN license, BLS, and 24 months of acute care experience. ADN is required, BSN preferred. Full-time, Monday–Friday with no weekends or holidays, plus a $15,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• RN license valid in Virginia or Compact State in good standing.
• BLS certification required.
• 24 months of Acute Care RN experience; ED/ICU preferred.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in Same-Day Surgery Center.
• Assist in Pre-op and Phase II recovery with rotating shifts.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
