Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse include but are not limited to:

1. Ensuring proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
2. Developing and ensuring the nursing care plan and collaborating with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants.
3. Making nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care.
4. Collaborating with the resident and members of the healthcare team.
5. Recording the administration of medication.
6. Monitoring assigned staff to ensure safety regulations are followed and tasks are performed following all regulations and safety procedures.
7. Following procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies.
8. Performing other duties as directed.

Qualifications of the Registered Nurse include:

1. An active RN license.
2. Prior experience as an RN in a nursing community.
3. A desire to care for residents and act with integrity.
4. The ability to work flexible hours.
5. SNF/LTC experience preferred.
