Job summary

AdventHealth in Ocala, FL is seeking a Risk Management professional to develop and oversee the annual plan, investigate sentinel events, and coordinate RCA activities. The role emphasizes data review, policy development, and collaboration with legal teams to support risk mitigation.

The position requires RN certification, nursing experience, and a background in risk management; CPPS is preferred. The role is full-time and on-site at the Ocala campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Nursing required or preferred.
• RN certification required.
• CPPS certification preferred.
• Experience leading evidence-based projects and teaching is a plus.
• Acute care nursing experience (3+ years) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and oversees the annual Risk Management Plan implementation.
• Investigates sentinel events and reports to regulatory bodies with department manager.
• Facilitates RCA team meetings and follows up on outcomes.
• Reviews medical records and collects data for risk management analysis.
• Assists with Grievance Process activities and attends committee meetings.
