• RN license and 4 years of nursing experience, including at least 2 years in clinical nursing.
• Experience in risk management, quality assurance, or related health care management is preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication with faculty, residents, students and employees.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze medical records to investigate patient concerns and grievances and draft responses.
• Advise faculty, residents, students and staff on patient communications and risk management policies.
• Prepare medical records for legal review and coordinate expert reviews.
• Assist with discovery responses and document collection.
• Prepare or assist in preparing Professional Liability Committee agendas and participate in meetings.
• Coordinate management of patient concerns with affiliated institutions and healthcare partners.
• Support risk management education and presentations for faculty, residents, and employees.
