Garden Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee the Respiratory Therapy Program within our New York State–licensed Skilled Nursing Facility. This role ensures respiratory services are delivered safely, compliant with CMS regulations and NYSDOH requirements, and coordinates with therapists, physicians, and nursing leadership.

Qualifikationen

• Current New York State RN license is required.
• 2–3 years nursing experience, preferably in SNF/long-term care.
• Experience with respiratory care modalities (oxygen therapy, nebulizers, tracheostomy care).
• Working knowledge of CMS regulations and NYSDOH requirements.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Oversee daily operations of the Respiratory Therapy Program according to physician orders and care plans.
• Ensure respiratory treatments are administered per clinical standards and policy.
• Monitor residents with respiratory diagnoses and coordinate with physicians and RTs.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and documentation; participate in QAPI activities.
• Prepare for NYSDOH surveys and audits; ensure survey readiness.
