Job summary

Kettering Health Main Campus is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the First Shift to provide patient care using the nursing process in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. This role supports safe care delivery, patient advocacy, and ongoing quality improvement under the Clinical Nurse Manager.

Ideal candidates will have an accredited nursing degree, Ohio RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS within six months.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Licensed in Ohio as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 12 months RN experience in an acute care or long-term care setting.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification within six months of hire.
• Must be scheduled a minimum of 1152 hours per calendar year.
• Minimum of 12 shifts (144 hours) per 6 week schedule.
• Weekend Shift Requirement.
• 2 Holidays per year.
• Preferred qualifications include ICU, ED or Cath Lab experience.

Job Responsibilities Responsibilities & Requirements The Registered Nurse (RN) utilizes the nursing process in providing nursing care to patients in all settings in collaboration with other interdisciplinary personnel. Utilizing organizational resources the RN acts as a patient advocate for the delivery of safe care including delegation of care and participation in performance and practice improvement. The RN’s actions and communications should reflect Kettering Health Networks mission, vision, values, and policies in interactions with patients, families, and coworker. The Registered Nurse reports to the Clinical Nurse Manager.

Job Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse
• At least 12 months of RN expeirnece in an acute care or longterm care setting
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification required within six months of hire
• Must be scheduled a minium of 1152 hours per calendar year
• Minimum of 12 shifts (144 hours) per a 6 week schedule
